1. What I Can Do When I Have Christ Living In Me
Read the passage of scripture below, then list the 5 miraculous signs and wonders listed in the scriptures, you will be able to do, when you believe.
15 And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. 16 Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. 17 These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. 18 They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.” 19 When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. 20 And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs.
We must all remember, in healing, there is forgiveness of sins. Jesus is willing to work through you, but you have to believe and receive what Jesus has for you. We must also remember, prayer has no distance.
2. 3 Things You Have Been Commanded By Jesus To Do
After reading the passage of scripture below, list the three things you have been commanded to do by Jesus.
18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth,” 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
If you only do the first 2 commands above, then the parable of the farmer scattering seed takes place. (See Matthew 13:1-23)
When all 3 of the commands are applied, then you are doing the work of the Kingdom of God.
3. What You Are Able To Do When You Have The Spirit of Jesus In You
11 Soon afterward Jesus went with his disciples to the village of Nain, and a large crowd followed him. 12 A funeral procession was coming out as he approached the village gate. The young man who had died was a widow’s only son, and a large crowd from the village was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, his heart overflowed with compassion. “Don’t cry!” he said. 14 Then he walked over to the coffin and touched it, and the bearers stopped. “Young man,” he said,“ I tell you, get up.” 15 Then the dead boy sat up and began to talk! And Jesus gave him back to his mother. 16 Great fear swept the crowd, and they praised God, saying, “A mighty prophet has risen among us,” and “God has visited his people today.” 17 And the news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and the surrounding countryside.
There is only one thing God requires of us, and that is to believe in Jesus! John the Baptist said: Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God. Matthew 3:8.
